In order to provide the best service possible we have established the following policies:
Payment:
Payment is due before services are rendered. Please do not leave your payment for the sitter to pick up. You can pay your invoice with Mastercard, Visa or Discover.
Cancellations:
Any cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice of the day of a scheduled visit or series of visits are non-refundable. Any remaining paid visits will be used as a credit towards future visits.
Clients who sign up for our Monthly Program of regular mid-day dog walks are entitled to 3 cancellations per month without incurring a penalty. Those visits will be used as a credit towards next month's invoice.
Please note: You must call and leave a voice message at the office prior to 9:00 am on the day of the scheduled visit to avoid a charge.
Regularly scheduled walks do not occur on Federal holidays. If you still require your regular visit on these holidays, please let us know in advance so we can add you to the schedule.
Holiday Cancellations:
All reservations for Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's must be paid in full at booking. Cancellations 7 days prior to first visit are 50% refundable for entire schedule and will be given a credit that can be used towards future visits. Cancellations less than one week notice are non-refundable.
We cannot resell time that has been expressly held and reserved for you. To avoid this fee, please contact TOP DOG as soon as possible if you need to reschedule an appointment.
Last Minute / Emergency Pet Care requests:
Please add $10 plus your regular service fee for any service requests to visit your pets that we receive with less than 24 hours notice. This fee applies even if it is not necessary for us to be at your home for the full length of a regular pet sitting or dog walking visit. Add $20 for overnight services. Availability is not guaranteed, but we will try very hard to accommodate you.
Holiday Supplemental Charge:
The $10 holiday fee will apply to the holidays listed below:
- New Year's Eve
- New Year's Day
- Easter
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
Key Copies:
We must have two (2) working keys at the time of the initial consultation.
All dogs and cats should be housebroken, non-aggressive and up-to-date on all vaccinations and on a monthly flea/tick treatment.
